Merge into Coast Guard article
[edit]I think it would be a silly addition to that article and makes more sense to have it as a separate, bitty article.71.146.38.165 (talk) 04:06, 29 July 2008 (UTC)
Let's add to this
[edit]Coast Guard Day is a day near and dear to every Coastguardsman. It not only celebrates the founding of the Coast Guard but it is also an occasion to for Coast Guard Units everywhere to get together with their families and participate in Unit picnics and informal sports activities. Often times retired and former Coast Guard members and their families are also invited to the activities.
Coast Guard Day is every bit as important to a Coast Guardsman as November 10th is to a Marine. Leave it as a separate article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cuprum17 (talk • contribs) 23:44, 25 September 2008 (UTC)
